Why Registry Cleaners Should Be Used With Caution

I myself do use registry cleaners to help my computer run smooth and to resolve some PC issues.  However not all registry cleaners are created equal and often times registry cleaners will not be able to resolve PC errors.

The purpose of using a registry cleaner is to do just that,  clean the registry.  The problem here is many computer issues are not caused by registry issues alone. Registry cleaners are great at compacting the windows registry as well as removing invalid entries in the registry.

The biggest problem with this is sub par registry cleaners often times remove entries that should not be removed.  If this happens you computer may become more unstable and even unable to boot in some cases.  What makes matter worse is there are registry cleaners on the market that offer no backup options for the registry.  Before you attempt any cleaning you need to have a backup to restore your registry entries in case something goes wrong.

With over a 100 registry cleaners on the market it can be hard to decide which one works best which one's  do more harm then good.  In our latest registry cleaner testings we found only 5 cleaners that I can comfortably recommend out.
